ExxonMobil Qatar provides Qatar Orphans Foundation (Dhreima) with educational support during Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016

DOHA, Qatar – ExxonMobil Qatar provided the Orphans Care Center Qatar (Dhreima) with a check for QR 365,000 during the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016, in support the foundation’s College Funding Program. The check will help provide Dhreima students with educational assistance to attend a local college or university.

Alistair Routledge, President and General Manager for ExxonMobil Qatar, and Issa Salman Al Kuwari, Deputy General Manager of Dhreima, took part in a check presentation at the awards ceremony of the tournament. The ceremony was also attended by His Excellency Nasser Bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi, President of Qatar Tennis Federation, and Andrew P. Swiger, Senior Vice President, Exxon Mobil Corporation.

“At ExxonMobil Qatar, we believe that education drives economic destiny, and quality education helps citizens work together to create strong, capable and prosperous societies,” Routledge said. “We are pleased to support the Orphans Care Center Qatar (Dhreima) this year so that their beneficiaries can receive a college education, and so enhance their prospects of becoming effective, contributing members of society. I want to thank the Qatar Tennis Federation for providing us with a platform to once again support this worthy cause.”
