ExxonMobil Appoints National Development Manager
May 5, 2010 — Doha, Qatar: ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Abdul Latif Al-Naemi as its new National Development Manager. This appointment supports ExxonMobil’s goals of enhancing the representation of Qatari Nationals in the company while also sustaining the company’s long term Qatarization plans.
As National Development Manager, Mr Al-Naemi is responsible for the career development of Qatari nationals hired at ExxonMobil. This involves fulfilling their training needs, overseeing their progress and growth in the company, as well as career planning and skills development. In his role, Mr Al-Naemi will also engage with qualified Qatari university students who are interested in internships, sponsorships and also with qualified Qatari graduates interested in employment opportunities with the company in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, Business, Human Resources, Government & Public Affairs and Law.

Mr Al-Naemi is part of EMQI’s Management Leadership Team and reports directly to Alex Dodds, President & General Manager. He also chairs the ExxonMobil University Liaison Committee (ULC) dedicated to attracting high caliber graduates to a career with ExxonMobil by increasing the company’s visibility and awareness with Qatari students, university faculty and staff.
Mr Al-Naemi holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami, in Florida and has more that 20 years of experience in engineering and human resources while working for various government agencies in the State of Qatar. He has also followed a multitude of technical and managerial courses and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
