ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. announced its support for the Qatar Cycling Federation by signing on as the Gold Jersey Sponsor of the 2011 Ladies Tour of Qatar and 2011 Tour of Qatar. The Ladies Tour of Qatar will take place from February 2 to 4, 2011 while the Tour of Qatar will be held from February 6 to 10, 2011.

Qatar Petroleum (QP) and ExxonMobil Barzan Limited, a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, have signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) and a Development and Fiscal Agreement (DFA) for the Barzan Gas Project.

ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. will once again partner with the Qatar Tennis Federation by sponsoring the ExxonMobilQatar Nationals from 20-27 December 2010. This sponsorship is part of ExxonMobil’s commitment to not only bring world class tennis champions to Doha but also to the next generation of Qatari tennis players and champions.

ExxonMobil to continue Matching Contribution Program for 2011 during the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2011
ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. will have a matching contribution program at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2011 similar to the one held during the 2010 competition. During the duration of the tournament, from January 3-8, 2011, Qatar Paralympic Committee will accept donations at the ExxonMobil stand in the Public Village at the Khalifa Tennis Complex. At the end of the tournament, ExxonMobil will match the contributions and announce its donation as part of the program.

ExxonMobil Research Qatar Hires Top Qatari Researcher to Lead New Project
ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Mohamad Yacob Al-Sulaiti at ExxonMobil Research Qatar (EMRQ). He will lead the recently announced ExxonMobil Research Qatar Water Reuse research program. The program will investigate water treating technologies and will initially focus on the identification and selection of native plant life that can naturally clean industrial water.

Forum Publishes First Research Papers - Launches New Interactive Website
