Education initiatives

To develop the leaders of tomorrow, we must be a part of our children’s education starting at a young age, and continue supporting them as they grow into active contributors to society and prepare to join the workforce. We do this by making science and math more accessible to young learners, giving high school students the opportunity to run a business, and providing scholarships to university students. ExxonMobil strongly believes that human capability is a cornerstone to building a prosperous future.

ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. supports a number of programs to provide and enhance educational opportunities for high school and college students.

The Qatar National Vision aims to enhance women’s capacities and empower them to participate fully in the political and economic spheres, especially in decision-making roles.

INJAZ Qatar is a program aimed at increasing the entrepreneurship and business skills of Arab youth. In Qatar, ExxonMobil employees serve as mentors to provide youth with the practical business-related skills they need to succeed.

As a Gold Sponsor of the World Innovation Summit for Education, ExxonMobil supports global programs that encourage greater access to education as a critical means of increasing opportunities for social and economic development.

The academy was developed to help primary school teachers in Qatar learn new methods and tools to help bring science and math to life for their fourth, fifth and sixth grade students.

ExxonMobil Qatar also established Tamayoz, a training initiative that shares the company’s technical, commercial and operational expertise with its venture partners in Qatar.
